Who are we?...

Mobility Lisburn – Mobility Scooter, Wheelchair Hire & Used Sales

Lisburn Mobility Lisburn (formerly Shopmobility Lisburn) is a registered charity providing mobility equipment for hire across Lisburn.

Our mission is simple - to help everyone enjoy greater independence and easy access around Lisburn city centre.

Whether you’re an older person, living with a disability or recovering from illness or injury, our friendly team is here to support you. You don’t have to be registered disabled to use our service — everyone is welcome.

Where to Find Us

You can hire mobility equipment at our convenient Lisburn locations:

Bow Street Mall – mobility scooter and wheelchair hire

Sprucefield Shopping Centre – accessible mobility hire and registrations

The Hub on Market Square – our main centre for bookings, support, sales and activities.

Before using our equipment, please register as a member - simply email or call us to book an appointment.

SCOOTERS & WHEELCHAIRS

We recommend that you pre-book to avoid disappointment.

Mobility Lisburn use varied brands of mobility scooters and wheelchairs between 10.30am and 2.30pm, we currently do not rent these out overnight.

We do ask for a small donation towards our charity at time of hire.

SCOOTERS

Sorry but we do not offer overnight rental of our mobility scooters.

WHEELCHAIRS

Call to pre-book.

Due to low resources, we can no longer offer overnight rental of wheelchairs.

With special services available to all of our customers, it’s no wonder our equipment gets run down.

Rentals keep growing year after year.

It is important that Mobility Lisburn serves the community for many years to come, so we can continue to assist people with physical disabilities and mobility issues, to enable them to be as mobile as possible and access all the fantastic facilities that the city has to offer.

Once you have ensured your own family are properly provided for,

why not leave in your Will a Legacy to Mobility Lisburn?

Legacies can be left either in the form of:

1. Residuary Bequest
Where you provide that the remainder of your Estate is given to Mobility Lisburn after you have provided specific gifts of money or property to your family, friends and the payment out of any liabilities,

2. A Specific Bequest
Where you make a specific gift to Mobility Lisburn, whether it be money or a gift, which could for example be jewellery, stocks & shares, property or mobility equipment.

If you have already made a Will and do not wish to enter into more expense by having a whole new Will drafted, you may wish to add to your existing Will by means of a Codicil.

This is a document, which contains your additional instructions to your will. It is signed by you in the presence of two witnesses.
