Who are we?...
Shopmobility Lisburn is a registered charity, which can provide a mobility scooter or wheelchair - helping you get around Lisburn.
Our service is open to EVERYONE who finds access around the city centre difficult. This includes people with disabilities, older people or those who, due to accident or illness, find themselves with temporary mobility difficulties. You do not have to be registered disabled to use the service.
We have 3 locations, Bow St Mall, Sprucefield and Lisburn Square.
Before using our equipment, we require that you register as a member - please call to book an appointment.

ALSO A DOCTOR'S LETTER - IF YOU SUFFER FROM EPILEPSY, DIABETES OR HEART CONDITION

SCOOTERS & WHEELCHAIRS
We recommend that you pre-book to avoid disappointment.
Shopmobility Lisburn use varied brands of mobility scooters and wheelchairs between 9.30am and 2.30pm, we currently do not rent these out overnight.
We do ask for a small donation towards our charity at time of hire.
SCOOTERS
Call to pre-book a 2 hours slot.
Sorry but we do not offer overnight rental of our mobility scooters.
WHEELCHAIRS
Call to pre-book.
Due to low resources, we can no longer offer overnight rental of wheelchairs.

It is important that Shopmobility Lisburn serves the community for many years to come, so we can continue to assist people with physical disabilities and mobility issues, to enable them to be as mobile as possible and access all the fantastic facilities that the city has to offer.
Once you have ensured your own family are properly provided for,
why not leave in your Will a Legacy to Shopmobility Lisburn?
Legacies can be left either in the form of:
1. Residuary Bequest
Where you provide that the remainder of your Estate is given to Shopmobility Lisburn after you have provided specific gifts of money or property to your family, friends and the payment out of any liabilities,
Or
2. A Specific Bequest
Where you make a specific gift to Shopmobility Lisburn, whether it be money or a gift, which could for example be jewellery, stocks & shares, property or mobility equipment.
If you have already made a Will and do not wish to enter into more expense by having a whole new Will drafted, you may wish to add to your existing Will by means of a Codicil.
This is a document, which contains your additional instructions to your will. It is signed by you in the presence of two witnesses.
